8/2 - Church World Service Kids’ Kits

This summer, the Mission Committee is filling Kids’ Kits for distribution by Church World Service.

These kits are intended to encourage learning and creativity. Each one is filled with school and art supplies that help children feel cared for, supported, and ready to learn — at home, in the classroom, or wherever life takes them.

We hope you will help fill our bags with the following supplies:

• Boxes of 12 colored pencils — 12-count only

• Two-pocket folders

• Glue sticks

• Blunt scissors — rounded tip only

• 70-page spiral-bound notebooks

• 12-inch rulers

• Hand-held pencil sharpeners

• Large erasers — no pencil-cap erasers

• New unsharpened pencils with erasers

• Boxes of 24 crayons — 24-count only

• Pencil pouches — handmade or store-bought

There will be a collection box in Fellowship Hall. We encourage you to pick up supplies, especially as they go on sale this summer, and help fill the box by the first Sunday in August — August 2.
