Church Leadership

All of our work is made possible by our incredible staff, dedicated volunteers and you — working together in big and small ways to build a beloved community to love as Jesus loved, and to joyfully serve God, our neighbors, and the world.

  • The Church Board serves as the governing body of the church, carrying out the will of the congregation and providing overall leadership and coordination. It oversees committees and personnel, responds to concerns from the church and wider community, and helps guide the vision and direction of the church’s life and work. The Board also ensures transparency and accountability by reporting annually to the congregation.

  • The Trustees care for the church’s buildings, finances, and long-term stewardship. They oversee the annual budget, financial records, stewardship campaign, and church staff roles related to property and finances. Trustees work through subcommittees focused on finance, investments, and stewardship to ensure the church’s resources are used wisely and responsibly.

  • The Deacons nurture the spiritual, worship, and pastoral life of the church. They support worship and sacraments, welcome new members, care for those who are sick or grieving, and help foster a sense of belonging in the community. Deacons also work closely with the pastor to support worship, music, and ministry leadership.

  • The Mission and Outreach Committee helps the church live out its call to serve beyond its walls. It builds awareness of local, national, and global needs, encourages participation in mission projects, and supports United Church of Christ mission initiatives. Through this work, the committee invites the congregation to put faith into action in the wider world.
